Digitizing paper archives
Traditionally, housing associations have large archives with construction- and installation drawings and plans. Depending on the association, these archives are more or less structured. Drafting Factory is able to make a valuable contribution to the structuring and digitization process of these archives.
Low management costs digital archives
The management of the construction- and installation drawings as well as the plans are a tough job. They are often not digitally available, and if they are, there is often a lack of knowledge and skills to manage the houses, often drawn in CAD and to have inspectors implement the changes they habe observed themselves.
Thanks to a mutation subscription of Drafting Factory, mutations of CAD drawings can be implemented at very competitive rates. As an alternative, a switch can be made to Floorplanner software. This has the advantage of being very user friendly, which also enables non-technical people to implement mutations in plans.
Unlocking archives for tenants
It is becoming increasingly important for housing associations to unlock their propery file for (potential) tenants in a simple and clear way. Because of new regulation it will be easier for tenants on a waiting list to look for a (social) rent property outside of their region. The result will be that there will be an increase in requests for detailed information of a house, prior to the decision to do a tour of the house.
To be able to relieve the customer service and / or back offices of housing corporations, it it recommended to have a house presentation online that is as complete as possible. This can be done by having the plans digitized and placed online as a PDF. A more optimal solution is to start using Floorplanner software. This offers the tenants the possibility of decorating their (future) home.
